Textile industry is one of the largest industries in India. increasing demand and globalization fading out cultural and traditional values of handloom textiles because of lack of up-gradation. it is important to preserve and conserve the heritage of the traditional handloom business in modern ways. Proposed project is focusing on Kerala handlooms from southern part of India where we found huge variety of traditional handloom textiles. This project is focusing on 4 types of silks Kuthampully, Chendamangkam, Balarampuram and Knnur. And providing solution and platform for future generation through training and market facility.
Site has divided in 3 sub parts as per users such as Training, Shopping Centre and Exhibition Centre has placed facing road as Public and Semi-public places and Rear side of the site has allotted for Residential area for weavers. Entrance is 8m wide with watchmen’s cabin and front foyer has feature wall. Parking area has designed for 40 cars, 80 vehicles, 2 buses and 5 service vehicles. There is also a separate Service entry.
Behind the front feature wall there is Amphitheater and has capacity of 300 people maximum which is purposefully placed in between Shopping center and Training center and to perform Annual gatherings as public space. Shopping center is facing road to attract visitors and generate revenue. Exhibition area and Cafeteria are also aligned with it. Training center is to promote and spread the art of weaving and has facilities such as dying and drying, units of classrooms, library, multipurpose, audio-visual room.

Residential area has divided in two clusters and designed with central courtyards for community gatherings with children’s play area. So, visitors can experience journey of weaving. 2ndcluster have VIP Guest house and the central courtyard has designed with stage area where community Annual gatherings will be done. Remaining area has dedicated to allied services like stop, Grey water treatment plant and Water reservoir. 9m Ring road has designed as per firefighting rules and all primary connecting pathways are 4.5m wide and secondary pathways are 1.5 m wide.

Individual Residence has been designed as per Weaver’s circulation and required area for loom. While planning passive cooling strategies have considered, at the west side of residence, shading device is provided to avoid direct sun to the room. All doors and windows have louvers to avoid direct humid air flow. All walls are 300mm thick for thermal cooling and heating. Ventilator is been provided at staircase tower for hot air to rise up and escape.
The campus can invite Political leaders or International guest for function so that, the VIP guest house has been planned with Verandah, Living room, Dining and Kitchen at Ground floor. At First floor 2 Master Bedroom and party deck has been designed.

Shopping area is 2440 sqm which is G+1 structure with internal courtyard, the corridor revolves around internal courtyard. This area is designed with Administration exhibition area, 19 no. of Shops. Cafeteria with capacity of 60 no of seating’s, Common toilets, drinking water facility and public seating. It is aligned with parking area connected to kitchen area of cafeteria for ease of loading and unloading.
Training area is 3100 sqm which is G+1 structure with internal courtyard, the corridor revolves around internal courtyard this area has designed with 4 no. of classrooms and it can accommodate 40 students with one guide. Training area has library, multipurpose hall and staff room. This area also comprises of boys and girls hostel accommodating 15 student each block and having common dining area in between which will also serve as canteen area for training block. This area combines dying and drying unit which has service entry from North side of the block. The classroom height is 5m so as to control noise generated by handlooms.1

Infrared landscape render is inspiration taken from infrared landscape photography technique. So me and my team is just starting a new type of rendering & exploration of natural landscapes which really exist and try to make that things in lumion 10 software.
So by that we make sure that the people who following our render techniques they dont have any doubt in rendering.

For this type of rendering we just used 1 simple looking house from sketchup warehouse and make material look as old as possible.
Show the lake or sea whatever you wish to put in front of house to show the reflections on water.
Create natural contours with forest trees with some uneven heights. ( do not add more than 3 types of trees in this scene ).
And the final step add the Autumn color effect from effects tab.

The main effects are the effects which add real depth & sense in your render. And this effects completes the overall render. This effects give real meaning to the render.

Why enhancement effects ?
Enhancement effects are used to highlight main effect render settings. This effects are used to lighten the render, to give focus and fill the incomplete part in the render.
SLIDE THE VERTICAL BAR TO SEE THE BEFORE AND AFTER
Step 1 Add this main effects with provided values
SUN EFFECT – Height 3.8 , Heading 101.8 , Sun brightness 0.5 & sun disk size 0.2
After adding sky & clouds effect we remove the master cloud amount and clear the sky so actual sun setting can came into the render. By removing clouds you can see the sun more visible than before.
COLOR CORRECTION – temperature -0.1, tint 0.5, vibrance 0.4, brightness 0.3, contrast 0.6, saturation 0.9 ( IF YOU WANT TO BRIGHTEN THE WHOLE SCENE YOU CAN INCREASE THE GAMMA CORRECTION AMOUNT ).
AFTER ADDING THIS FIRST 3 EFFECTS THE OVERALL RENDER LOOKS GOOD BUT TO RENDER IN DETAIL NEED TO ADD EXTRA EFFECTS
By lens flare we add some streaks and the light leak in the render to enhance the sun and its brightness.
SHADOW EFFECT– increase the coloring, interior/exterior & omnishadow at its highest value & reduce the brightness to 0.1.
The omni shadows increase the light of shadows in the scene so your dark spaces get illuminated.
REFLECTION EFFECT – click on the speed ray reflections to add accuracy & gives the reflection planes where it is necessary.
WITH REFLECTIONS YOU CAN FEEL THE REAL DEPTH IN THE SCENE.
If you have glass and water in the render scene the reflection effect is very important without this effect you should never render your final image. It gives real depth to whole image and gives sense of realism.
STEP 2 ADD THE ENHANCEMENT EFFECTS.
BLOOM EFFECT – bloom effects add the glow in the image from where your light source is. It help in the interiors when you show ceiling lights and in exteriors. (bloom 0.3)
SKY LIGHT – This effect adds the extra light and saturation in your render scene where the sunlight & artificial light is unable to reach. Brightness 0.7, saturation 1.3, off planar reflections & on projected reflections and click on ultra render quality tab.
SHARPNESS – When you have large landscape and exterior projects scene to render the sharpness is mandatory because when we add 8 to 12 or 16 effects in render the render became soft by overlapping one effect on other.( sharpness 0.7 )
HORIZON CLOUD – In this render the horizon cloud is added to hide the plane horizon from scene and show some clouds over horizon. ( Amount 1, type 0.6 )
Vignette – This effect creates the black frame on the outer part of image so the render focuses on the main subject. ( Amount 0.1, softness 0.8 ).
HYPERLIGHT – This effect is for improve the lighting quality and accuracy in the final render. ( Amount 100 % ).

To get started with new experiment we wanted to try night render with moon & render it with different phases of moon.
Here we explain you step by step how to add moon and try different option in your renders.
STEP NO.1
ADD SUN EFFECT. Yes Sun effect is the first and very important effect you need to add for experiment with moon effect. It is essentially important because through sun heading and height you can change the phases of moon.
Set the sun height to -8.2 to add darkness in the environment & brightness to 0.5 to reduce overall sun brightness & set the heading according to your scene or you can use our own lumion scene file.
STEP NO.2
ADD MOON EFFECT. In moon effect set this values – moon height to 8.8 degrees, moon heading to 102 degree & moon size to 4.3 X ( NOTE : CHANGING MOON HEADING TO – DEGREE YOU WILL SEE MOON PHASES CHANGING VERTICALLY & TO CHANGE THE MOON PHASES HORIZONTALLY SIMPLY INCREASE THE VALUES IN POSITIVE FROM NEGATIVE.

STEP NO.3
ADD SKY & CLOUDS EFFECT from sky tab.
Change sky brightness according your scene to darken the scene reduce sky brightness & to illuminate the scene with some sky brightness simply increase it.
Change overall brightness if you need in your scene.
That’s it now you know how to use moon effect for your night renders.
