How to use DEPTH OF FIELD effect in lumion 10 for photo realistic rendering

IN THIS POST WE ARE EXPLAINING DEPTH OF FIELD EFFECT IN DETAIL FOR LUMION.

1. What is Depth of field in lumion 10 / Why it is important ?

The depth of field is the distance between the camera and the subject which we want to focus. The DOF is highly important in interiors then exterior rendering.

It is important because in each and every render we need to tell the story and drive the focus to one point then whole image because we cant focus on every thing at a time.

( USE THIS EFFECT AFTER YOU SET YOUR FINAL RENDER SETTINGS. )

IN THIS EFFECT WE HAVE 4 SLIDERS AS FOLLOWS

1. AMOUNT ( BLUR EFFECT OR BLUR AMOUNT )

By adjusting this slider you can adjust blur amount in render. This will help to focus on the subject.

2. Foreground/background

The foreground is the first object which come first in render & it will blur the object. The background is the overall scene which is behind the main object or focus point in renders.

3. Focus Distance

The focus distance is the distance between the camera & main object in the scene.

4. Sharp Area Size

The sharp area is used to sharpen the render according to the length which we wanted to focus on.
